This policy explains what Directory Assistance Group collects on directoryassistancegroup.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and message.
• Advertiser details you give us for a listing: business name, contact details, logo and description.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, billing country and the plan you bought. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Usage data, if you allow analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and links clicked, through Google Analytics 4.

Cookies

We store your cookie choice in your browser. Analytics cookies are off until you click "Allow," and you can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Advertising

This site does not show third-party ads today. The free directory sites we publish may show ads served by Google AdSense, and if we add ads here, this section applies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Google and its partners may also use web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers to measure ads and prevent fraud.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. See also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any personalized ads are shown. Without consent, ads are non-personalized or limited.

Google AdSense is the only advertising vendor we use. If we add another, we'll name it here with a link to its opt-out page.

How we use it

To answer messages, set up and bill placements, prevent fraud, and understand which pages are useful. We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers

Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (usage statistics, only with consent), our hosting provider, and our email provider process data for us under their own privacy terms.

Retention

We keep messages for up to 2 years and billing records as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither), by emailing hello@directoryassistancegroup.com. California, EU and UK residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR, and we honor them for everyone. We won't treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our sites are for adults and aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

We'll update the date above when this policy changes.
